What’s YOUR Mountain?
Susan, personally committed to doing good, is one of less than 10 women her age to successfully thru-hike the 2,194.3 mile Appalachian Trail, spanning from Maine to Georgia, with her daughter.
Goals were to:
Complete the Trail & be home by Christmas (we began on July 15th)
Raise awareness & funds to find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease (published 96 videos on our YouTube channel, raised almost $100k and were named The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s Rookies of the Year)
Don’t die (came close with 2 ER visits due to head injuries, but we were back on Trail the following day)
